Militating for Culture

Although it could have been put on Blog section, I considered that this piece of information should go on the main page, right in front of your eyes.

START READING. If Reading, as in getting a book from a shelf (because I hate to think that you don't have any books at home) is too hard for your rested brains, then you could start reading my blog. It has words that joggle with your mind, making it easier to understand.

I don't care about the income produced by this website, not at this time. Right now, I am just looking for a way to make my words heard.

Too bad there aren't too many publishers surfing the Internet in search of lost souls like mine.

To the ungratefull bastards

We closed our eyes so many times, I sincerely don't know how we did it. We got screwed so many times by the system, that we somehow got used to it.

How can you steal the only thing that we've got left? The only thing that is OURS. You corporations did not invent the Internet, but you are the ones that get the most benefits out of it. More than all the small online businesses put together, and you still can't get enough. What else do you want? What can you do with so much money, only you know.

I promise you this, corporations: if you censor OUR online existence, we will censor your existence for good. I can listen to some music on an Asian ripoff mp3 player bought from a "friend" without having to spend money on an operating system or iMusicPlayer.

We will go Open Source, mother haters. OPEN LIFE that is. I already have envelopes, what do you think that can stop me starting sending regular mail using the post system? Do you really think that we need you to con...

Getting screwed in life

Unfortunately, the identity theft reached new dimensions. And when I say new, I mean mental. It's getting harder as time goes by to keep your personal information for yourself.

I have been approached by a company, throughout a University service called JobShop, which allows them to send emails to registered groups of students searching for a job. Sounded legit and fine, therefore I printed the needed forms and got ready to send them via post. The documents included a printout contract which I had to sign, a Tax Form and a copy of my driver license.

Then an article from LinkedIn raised my attention about HOW a job interview should be and WHY we should not reveal our personal data, nor sign any ...

Try sport or Trysport

Although I did not invent this campaign, I would like to add one more thing:
Try sport - At least one.

Sport and wellness are becoming a big concern nowadays. And that's because people realize, unfortunately too late for some, that they can't get out of bed anymore and, you don't get a great body just living your life based on personal standards, only. Most of all, and the smartest thing to do, is to pay attention to what your body has to say.

How many people listen to their bodies, do you ask yourself if the food you are eating or the sport that you're doing really improves your health and state of mind? When I started listening to my body, besides listening to my brain, I realized that I wasn't paying enough attention.

I started, then, paying some a...
